Welcome

In Swahili they say “Jambo, Karibu”; meaning “hello, welcome”. Kenya Aid Programme was established in 2010 to help give back what Kenyans had lost after the outbreak of post-election violence in 2007 – 2008.
Our aim is to give Kenyans back what they are entitled to: A good education in a safe, sanitary and clean environment. As of now, this is seen as more than a human right. It’s not. We are currently working with a handful of educational and community projects throughout Nairobi and the Rift Valley Province.

Latest News: 2 KAP team members have returned from the March 2011 field trip out in Kenya. Bev and Polly along with Edwin from the Kibugat community project, Headmasters Cylas Omula and Sammy Omollo from the FortSmith Junior and High schools met the two containers in Nairobi and all the goods were recieved, organised and then distributed accordingly. Both of the containers had been travelling from the UK since early January and arrived safely in Mombasa and then travelled up to Nairobi. The schools and the community projects are now equipped with 751 plastic chairs, 85 children’s plastic chairs, 90 school tables (4 large) and 101 padded chairs.
We would like to acknowledge the support given to us by a growing number of businesses. It is thanks to this ongoing help, whether financially or by way of resources and services, that we are able to expand our programme in Kenya, and to plan for the future.
